“I Hear and I Forget, I See and I Remember, I Do and I Understand”
Think of the future and Robotics is an inevitable part. Robotics is the future and the world needs to gear up to this reckoning demand. Think Robotics, think Inker is also an impeccable partnership our nation is fast embracing with the number of future makers being made ready to bridge the gap in skilling and technology in future. Inker Robotics takes this up as a challenge and is taking every initiative to prepare learners to be constructive contributors with socio- environmental responsibility and an eye for sustainable projects that add value to the world to make lives better. A day at Inker Robotics for any school or college student is a memorable one that inspires them to revisit every now and then. An interaction with Sanbot, a Trainer cum Customer Services Bot and Alton, a unique modular Robotic Trainer (designed in-house collaborating some of the best emerging technologies including 3D Printing and Artificial Intelligence) have instilled awe and passion for robotics in every learner who has interacted with these futuristics Robots at Inker. Every young learner has a creative mind which is capable of assimilating from the surroundings and then seeking a platform where these could be applied and explored. This is the vision Inker has always been driven by and we seek to offer this much needed platform to these learners who ultimately are to become our future makers.
“Robotics is an area which seamlessly blends and collaborates all core learning verticles viz. STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) through very immersive, hands-on techniques, thus making learning fun filled, value added and lifelong”, says Mr. Amith Raman, the COO of Inker Robotics.
At Inker, every aspect of learning and teaching is mapped through intense research and every module is so designed as to ensure that the learning blends well with the curriculum at school or college, while students understand the nuances of STEAM through Robotics.
Our current school curriculum is barely able to provide this platform, with rote learning at its core and conventional teaching methodologies that are mundane and theoretical. Inker has witnessed excellence in learner performance in Sciences and Mathematics through Robotics, as all key concepts under science and Mathematics including energy, electronics, physics, algorithms etc.to name a few, are taught through activity-based sessions by trainers who are subject matter experts and are more of co-critics and mentors.
The year 2020, has been the most eventful one with the world witnessing the worst of pandemics and parallelly the most aggressive need for and shift to technology. Every professional, student and individual is presently witnessing the blessings that technological collaboration is bringing into their lives. Even a learner who didn’t have much access to technology, today finds himself/ herself learning voraciously in a virtual classroom from any corner of the world.
Inker feels proud to be a part of the trendsetting future of which Robotics is an integral part and every step at Inker is driven towards a creating a whole new generation that is FUTURE READY!
Inker to achieve this goal has set up an enviable 4500 Sq ft of future ready space, with a state-of-the-art Research and Development centre and a Hi-ended futuristic Lab. The Inker R&D facility has been awarded the Best Robotic lab at the STEM event held at IIT Delhi in 2019.Every equipment, tool, kit, work station or Digital Resource made available is nothing less than the best, with zero compromise on quality and delivery. Inker embraces every future maker with a dream to innovate and add value to make lives better through technology and offers every support to help them achieve their dreams through research and learning.
A lot of ambitious projects at Inker are driven by its passion to bring technology to every nook and corner of the society including the grassroots. To fulfil this objective, Mr. Rahul Balachandran, the CEO of Inker Robotics with his 70 plus strong team strive day in and day out to innovate and deliver the highest value driven products and services. Gramam 4.0, an innovative Technology based Mobile Bus is a part of this vision, through which Inker aspires to take Robotics and technology to every school and village in the country to showcase the best in Robotics and its applications that add value to everyday life.
At an eventful time like this too, Inker has a strong footing on finding ways to offer Robotics and emerging technology to every learner, passionate to contribute to the future. This includes the weekly Expos titled, ‘HELLO ROBOTS’ which aims at introducing Robotics and Emerging technologies to the School and College students, showing them a pathway to the future which is Robotics driven and the various applications the world today is witnessing and is yet to witness in the near future. Inker’s bonafide initiatives to bring Robotics and Emerging technologies including, Rapid Prototyping, Artificial Intelligence, Robot Operating System, Block Chain, Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) to every classroom has been well received by many institutions across the nation including KAMP (a great initiative to support future Scientists and technology geeks from schools across India). Inker conducts regular virtual expos for these young scientists on a regular basis. Inker also is coming out with a new Digital Magazine titled ‘The Robotic Play Book’ (RPB) to ensure that no learner is deprived of news and developments that are taking place in the Robotics space. This also gives the learners and contributors an opportunity to write and interact with the world digitally and offer their thoughts.
Inker has structured modules both at school and college levels that aim to offer Robotics through qualitative mentoring and collaboration through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) based education, Strategic Developmental Goals (SDGs) as laid down by the UNICEF (United Nation’s Children’s Fund) and the National Education Policy (NEP). Every Module is progressive and interconnected through interdisciplinary areas of study including life skilling, language enhancement and soft skilling, all incorporated into one. This stems from the understanding that technology alone is not enough. Its application and delivery is as important. Inker’s CPP (Conceptual-Participative-Project) based learning methodology coupled with a Pedagogy that is centered around co-critical mentoring and a well-integrated, resourceful LMS (Learning management system) makes the entire Robotics journey for both the learner and the trainer a lifelong immersive and well-rounded experience. Inker also offers great commercial value add to learners by offering the best of Internships (Do and Learn) at the best Robotic Lab in the country. With its current operations Pan India, Inker aspires to take Robotics to all nations across the globe. A guided effort towards this goal is the conscious investment Inker makes in its mentors, employees, learners, trainings and the facility.
A nation stands strong, when its citizens are empowered and driven by progressive thinking. Inker has this belief blended into every project and initiative that it takes and aims to build an India where every learner is made to #Be Future Ready!
